$ifTversusJ is the command to estimate the temperature in the channel loss. The command is

$ifTversusJ
type  thermal_resistance_P1 

Currently type is 1. 
$T = T_{ref} + P1 * power_loss$  

 P1 is the thermal resistance  $P1 :  K/(W/cm^{2})$  
 Power loss would be the joul-heat-loss, nonradiative recombination loss, Auger recombination loss
