This means that only the first two regions consider the generation rate which is 5.0e21 . And there is no generation in the third layer.
The $generation setting for 1D-DDCC in GUI interface
$generation will only appear in the input file if Generation is pressed.
The $generation setting for 2D-DDCC in GUI interface
After setting up the general structure, press Material Parameter, check the box and fill in the fields as needed!
