This is the generation rate of each region. Unitcm3s1.

Example

This means that only the first two regions consider the generation rate which is 5.0e21 cm3s1. And there is no generation in the third layer.

The $generation setting for 1D-DDCC in GUI interface

$generation will only appear in the input file if Generation is pressed.
