$valleynum is the command to assign the valley number of electron, hh, and lh. For example, Si has 6 valleys. If the effective mass is using the effective mass of a different direction, then we cannot use mdos in the parameters; the mdos is then calculated by

mdos*=(Nv)2/3(mxmymz)1/3

The format is

$valleynum
N_e_valley N_hh_valley N_lh_valley
N_e_valley N_hh_valley N_lh_valley
N_e_valley N_hh_valley N_lh_valley
N_e_valley N_hh_valley N_lh_valley
 .....n original regions
N_e_valley N_hh_valley N_lh_valley
N_e_valley N_hh_valley N_lh_valley
N_e_valley N_hh_valley N_lh_valley
 ... m additional region
