$useExtTasRef For some reason, the lattice size is initialized at certain temperature and the temperature distribution is not uniform. Therefore, we cannot set the temperature as constant in the simulation domain. If the temperature distribution is decided by an file, user can use this command to input the temperature.

Usually the filename is from the output of thermal solver, which follow gmsh data format.
